Hailing from the small town of South Mountain, Ontario (Near Ottawa), Canada, Cory M. Coons has been writing, recording and  performing  music professionally for over 15 years. Now celebrating over 10 years of performing with his "Tycoons" Band as well as a Solo Artist, he has finished compiling a brand new Cd release "Retrospective" which features the  catchy new  track "Every Time I Think About You" co-produced with acclaimed New  York/Toronto  record producer Gary LaBarr, among many other previous tracks (including some  previously un-released material and studio out-takes). Cory's sound, and many  influences range from such distinguished popular artists like Bon Jovi, Styx,  April Wine, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Bryan Adams, Geddy Lee and Rik  Emmett. He has also opened for National Canadian Artists like April Wine, Kim  Mitchell, Glass Tiger, David Wilcox & Prairie Oyster. So whether it's with "original" & soulful acoustic melodies, or "tasty" driving rock rhythms blended with a hint of nostalgia in his current "Tycoons" Band, Cory M.
